The UFC 306 “Notche” will occur at the Sphere in Vegas* on September 14th and could be one of the most significant UFC events ever. The event will feature five main card fights and multiple preliminary and early prelim fights.
The Sphere is Las Vegas’s newest and most unique entertainment venue, featuring a video sphere surrounding the event center. Popular bands such as U2, Phish, and Dead and Company have popularized the venue with residencies that have gone viral for their visual appeal.
The UFC partnering with the Sphere in Vegas is a match made in heaven for many UFC fans. The UFC is one of today’s most popular sports in selling pay-per-views, and a contest at the Sphere is sure to sell well and produce some viral content.

Main Event – O’Malley vs. Dvalishvili
The main event will be a bantamweight fight between Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili. O’Malley is heavily favored as he is the current champion and what many say is the new face of the UFC, following in Conor McGregor’s footsteps.
Sean “the Sugar Show” O’Malley has seen an uptick in commercial appeal since obtaining the bantamweight belt in August 2023 with a win over Aljamain Sterling. Merab Dvalishvili hails from Georgia and is the current #1 ranked bantamweight contender. Dvalishvili has won his last ten fights, dating back to 2018, and will be a tough contender for O’Malley.
Odds indicate O’Malley should win the fight, but it will likely be close. As we all know, one good hit can change the predicted outcome.
