The heavyweight boxing match between popular YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul and boxing legend Mike Tyson is scheduled for November 15th, 2024, and will be exclusive to Netflix.
Paul is favored to win the fight because of his age, health, and reach. However, Tyson is a much more decorated fighter. However, Tyson hasn’t boxed since 2005, when he lost to Kevin McBride and retired from boxing.
Mike Tyson is 58 years old and has a professional record of 50-6. Tyson held three titles simultaneously, was the youngest-ever heavyweight champion, and is now a Hall of Fame boxer. Jake Paul has a professional record of 13-2 with seven knockouts. Paul’s first loss came in 2023 when he lost by a split decision to Tommy Fury. However, his fights have drawn massive attention with pay-per-view sales, and some fans believe he is saving the sport of boxing after the rise of the UFC.
The Paul vs. Tyson fight was initially scheduled for July 2024 but was rescheduled due to a medical emergency involving Tyson. Tyson claims that he ate too much-processed food and that ulcers caused his emergency.
