Last night, Teoscar Hernandez of the LA Dodgers won the Home Run Derby after stroking an impressive 49 baseballs out of Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Hernandez will be suited up again tonight as the starting center fielder for the National League when the 2024 MLB All-Star Game begins on Fox at 8:00 pm.
Taking the mound for the National League will be Pittsburgh Pirates’ rookie Paul Skenes. He was the first overall pick of the 2023 MLB Draft, and the All-Star Game will be the 12th appearance that Skenes has made in his career. Skenes is a perfect 6-0 with an ERA of 1.90 this year. He has also recorded 89 strikeouts.
The starting pitcher for the American League will be Corbin Burnes of the Baltimore Orioles. So far, Burnes has compiled a record of 9-4, with
an ERA of 2.43 and 110 strikeouts.
