Down on the Bayou, Bossier City residents are preparing for the grand opening of the exclusive Live! Casino & Hotel. The casino released a statement that stated they will have their Grand Opening on Thursday, Feb. 13th, 2025, marking the beginning of a new era of entertainment in the region.
The Grand Opening will soon be followed by numerous concerts, including performances by Walker Hayes, The Commodores, Matt Matthews, and Clint Black. Tickets for those events are already on sale.
John J. Chaszar, executive vice president and general manager of Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana said, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce our grand opening date. We are ready to go Live! in 2025 and deliver this top-tier gaming and entertainment experience unmatched by anything else in the four-state region.”
The casino will be more than 47,000 square feet and host a diverse range of gaming options. There’s something for every gaming enthusiast with 1,000+ gaming machines, more than 40 live-dealer table games, a dedicated high-limit room, and an on-site sportsbook.
In addition to the gaming options, Live! Casino in Bossier City will also include a lavish 12-story hotel with 549 rooms, 31 RV sites, five on-site restaurants, and an events center that can accommodate crowds of up to 1,200 people, promising a truly indulgent experience.
How Many Casinos Are In Louisiana?
There are currently four tribal casinos and 43 commercial casinos in Louisiana. Other LA gambling options include sportsbooks, poker rooms, horse and dog racing, and a state-regulated lottery system. The Louisiana Gaming Control Board regulates the state’s gambling industry.
Are Online Casinos Legal In LA?
The state does not authorize its tribal or commercial casinos to offer online casino games. While seven US states allow online casinos, Louisiana has yet to pass legislation to allow online iGaming. However, the state does allow online sports betting for players over the age of 21.
